Update highlights
Batch page gets a major upgrade: We’ve overhauled the Batch Management Grid to improve usability, performance, and consistency across the ShipWise WebApp. Here’s what’s new:
- Streamlined layout and improved performance: Redundant columns such as status counts and “View Grid” links have been removed to reduce visual clutter and enhance load times. These changes also bring the Batch Grid in line with the updated Orders and Shipments grids for a more unified experience.
- Visual enhancements and real-time feedback: The interface now includes progress bars to show processing status, tooltips for printed labels and packing slips, and a loader animation to indicate when batches are actively processing—providing greater clarity and a smoother workflow.

- Smarter interactions: A new popover tool gives users quick access to their personal settings, making it easier to compare individual sort preferences with the current batch view configuration.
- Rated order management: Batch IDs now update properly when moving rated orders into new batches, ensuring better organization and fewer manual corrections.
- Responsive design improvements: Sticky columns, tab headers, and overflow behaviors have been refined to work reliably across both light and dark mode views.
Carrier updates
FedEx: Added support for IATA Section II dangerous goods for non-ground FedEx services.
United Delivery Service (UDS) label customization: You can now print custom order reference fields directly on UDS package labels—giving you better label control.
Enhancements
Scrollbar visibility improvements when using the portal in “light mode”.
Third-party billing page now supports setting a billing account and duties/taxes billing account for DHL Express.
